Set in a world where magic is a staple of everyday life as common as electricity and creatures considered myth roam free, Nolice follows the trials of a gifted few with abilities that surpass their peers. Despite the rumors that abound of such people tending to disappear at the hands of power hungry organizations from mafia to the government, they seek to pursue their own dreams, and the top of the charts.
Nathan Baris
Over-sensitive and helpful to a fault, the aeromancer is the youngest member of Element and the only one obviously inhuman. His earliest memories are within the orphanage he was raised in with his best friend, Andrew. This lead vocalist is a pillar of sympathetic strength for the group, despite being amongst the most physically weak.
Hanna
Bass player and manager of the band Element, the pyromancer is over-bearing and dominating to a fault. Having been born into slavery, he is naturally distant and suspicious of those around him, which when combined with a quick violent temper results in a dangerous figure to cross. After his escape, he lived on the streets for a time until his skill with fire was discovered and he was admitted to the Academy.
Alexander Sachiel
Always eager to please, Alex uses his fingers for more than just the keyboard. Despite being born into a haughty, rich family, he is a slick rebel, taking pleasure in the seduction of both genders and manipulating people into bending to his will. He is a hybrid mage, his skill in aquamancy unequaled while still retaining a wild streak of spirit magic.
Zachary Darnell
A silent shadow drifting throughout the group with a blank expression, Zach was doomed at a young age when his powers with spirit magic were uncovered. Belonging to an upper-class family, his parents were ecstatic to discover that their son was not only intelligent, but possessed such a rare gift, despite the fact that such mages usually end up dead or insane with prolonged use of their powers. Losing himself in the guitar and fine art, Zach now clings to what he can to preserve his life.
Andrew Beaumont
A statue of a man that towers above most, the drummer and geomancer personifies the phrase gentle giant. Skilled in combat with a lust for friendly battle and video games, he is usually even tempered and fair, if a bit thick headed at times. When conflicts break out in the group he is more often a brick wall between those quarreling rather then a combatant.
