Biotechnology and cybernetics are all the rage in the new age, despite the deadly grip of economic depression in urban areas. Technologically enhanced punks, druggies and mobsters all openly wage war in the streets, leaving law enforcement powerless and the protection of the innocent up to mercenaries and bounty hunters that get paid to clean the mess afterwards. The Honor Corp is a freelance law enforcement group that fills in where the greed of the police and bounty hunters fail. Yet there is one mercenary running free that works even more efficiently then the HC, leaving their leader with the goal to recruit him into their ranks.
Merc Hazard
One of many mercenaries running about the streets, he has made a name for himself through his inhuman strength and efficiency. Known only as Hazard, it is under debate if he is truly human.
Mariko Masten
The only child of the Honor Corp's doctor, she joined the ranks against his wishes and quickly rose in rank until she ran the entire organization. Organized, diligent and obsessive to a fault, she keeps a sharp eye on everything. Unknown to all but those closest to her, she has no true memory of her life before the Corp.
Dr. Adrian "Doc" Masten
A kind man with a sharp eye for injury, most just call the crippled physician Doc. He always has a new joke when asked about his leg, but never an honest answer to the origin of the injury. Even his daughter is oblivious to all but the surface of the guarded man.
Dr. Jonathan L. Autumns
An infamous scientist with a specialty in genetic alteration and splicing who has been missing ever since he was convicted of medical atrocities and experimentation on people and animals. His lab and research was never found.
Dr. Sirus J. Ralston
The leading authority on cybernetics, most of the advanced technology in use was at some point derived from his research. It is said that he quietly retired after being diagnosed with cancer.
